I got a good book yesterday talking about getting and training a puppy to be a great dog. I've learned a ton already reading it. I haven't ruled out a grown dog. I wanted to learn as much as possible about all options. It would be cool to train a dog to be exactly what we want. We aren't going to rush into getting a dog, despite how bad I want a puppy. I also kind of short the cash and a vehicle big enough for my dog of choice. I'm not sure if I could fit a Great Dane in the STi. I'm gonna give it a shot with my friend's GD, he's over 35" at the shoulder.

Wait... what was she drinking? That alters the equation significantly.

That's awesome. I wanted to ride more this week, I just had stuff going on every night - dinner with friends and family almost every night after work. And once it gets much passed 5pm it's windy as **** out here in Natomas, which always slows down. I track all my rides and wind speeds and you can see a definite drop in my average speed when I do rides later in the evening. It's cool though I guess - better work out. Tomorrow I get my new stem so hopefully the bike will be a bit more comfortable.

I'm going downtown - free drinks ftw :wiggle:

So, I'm at a theme park on vacation with my wife and her family. I cant believe how confrontational or unapologetic some cultures are. Luckily my patience has increased with age, kids and a wife. But when a 6'+ man walks over your 3yo who's next to you and then yells an obsenity at him, park security is getting called as he falls over the nearest rail. Luckily he decided I wasn't worthy of any more than the #1 sign and his back as he ran away.

I don't understand why anyone would approach you and start stuff.

I went to the beach the other day and I was driving minding my own business waiting for oncoming traffic to go by so I could pass the guy in front of me and as I was passing him(in my wife's Echo) he was flipping me off. I was like WTF. I can't figure out why people are such crackheads. On the way home from that same trip a Mercedes was following me in the fast lane and we had to merge right for construction so I moved over behind 2 other cars and the Mercedes sped up a little to pass all 3 of us then they decided not to pass and tried to cut me off. Once again WTF are these people thinking. Either pass or get behind me.

Dude, it's a V6, what do you think?!

The cool thing about FWD is it's easy to get the wheels to spin. Plus it's a 5 speed automatic and even has a quasi-manual mode where you control the gear changes.
