So, how do you like the gages?
I forgot to warn you about target fixation: As your staring/admiring the boost gage needle sweeping around the dial, you fail to see the rear end of the vehicle in front of you.
You have been warned.

Good Morning peeps. *takes out mirror. Puts some white substance on the mirror. Rolls up a 100 dollar bill*
It's going to be a long day for me. But I did enjoy my Friday! Hell Friday made up for the slave weekend I'll be having.

i have to wear a non prescription contact lense in each eye for about a week due to having tight eyelids, and i'm ok with that extra level of protection. the only downside is that the eyedrops they prescribe are kind of milky and cause a bit of a haze on the contacts for an hour or so every time i use them. right now i'm 20/20 (had a follow up this morning) with a slight haze which will gradually go away and then be prefectly clear when the contacts come out next friday. bear in mind i'm still within the first 24 hours of having it done since it was so late yesterday when it was performed.
it's really wierd. i have no need for glasses now after 22 years of wearing them. my vision and depth perception are the best i've ever had even with that slight haze.

wow. Did the doc tell you that you're eyes were going to crust over if you didn't use the drops. I saw this simpson episode where homer gets it done but he skipped on the drops so his eyes crusted over.
How is your night vision. Some ppl were complaining that the lights at night were really bright.

:rotfl: i saw that episode.
they won't crust over if you don't use the medicated drops, but they can get infected. moisturizing drops are a good idea because it helps things heal faster.

Then Nelson convinced Homer that he was Marge so Homer could take him to the store and buy some Jack Daniels.

Oh and does it burn when you put the drops in your eyes.
I don't know why but I love that sensation.

You know it's a sign of the times when I spend the evening with some friends, each of us with our laptops/PCs, sitting in the same room, playing Texas Hold 'em on Card Player Poker online.

I met a guy who said a tree jumped out at him, he swerved to avoid it and flipped his car over a ridge into 8 ft. of snow. We picked him up along side of the road and he asked us to drive him back to the bar (Montanan's, such funky folk). FYI, there is the Boxcar, the 160 club, Tahoe Club and Pistol Pete's up in old Auburn, all very good bars/dive bars/pool halls. Oh, and if you guys see a deer oncoming and you can't avoid it, aim for the hind legs, that way it won't flip into your windshield and kill you (you live in Montana, you learn the hardway).
