Sacramento Caravan to BAM2017
New venue. Newish route. New meetup spot. Same Caravan time.
Less than a month to go, here are the details.

Basic Route info We’ll be taking I-80 to I-680 to US101.
Check in to the Roll Call to get more detailed info or PM me.
Try to have someone’s number that is going to be there so we don’t have people left behind or lost for whatever reason.
Prepay Info: (Saves you time, money, and the event coordinators stress)
PREPAY: $10 per person (PREPAY DEADLINE TO BE ANNOUNCED.)
Kids under 13 fly free.
Prepays are being accepted now at baicbamevent@gmail.com

So your paypal payment must include...
Who you are, your real name AND your screen name
How many you are prepaying for.
Your name will end up on a form with all of your info and what you're getting. Show up. Find your name. Get your stuff. Enter event.
-Please bring $$$CASH$$$ for any of the following:
* $10 for parking
* $10 (or maybe more) if you do not buy a prepaid ticket
* $5 for toll booth (on the way home)
* $$ for food at the concessions (food is not included this year entry)
* $$$ to purchase raffle tickets
* $$ for parts, gear, etc because on-site sales are no longer banned
* $$ if you would like to donate to the charity directly
RULES:
There is a ZERO tolerance for bad driving. We do not need any extra negative attention to our cars driving 2 hours away. We will be in a large group and will already stand out.
-No revving your motors
-No crazy/irresponsible/asshat driving
We have not had any problems in the past and let’s keep it that way. If you cause any problems, you will not be invited back the following year.
Please come with a FULL TANK OF GAS! We are not going to make any stops on the way.
Also check your fluids, belts, tires ect. Again, no driving crazy.
Any questions/concerns feel free to post them up!

Nope, I like the location but one issue with the Fry's lot is that we have to make a left turn at a stop light and with 25-30 cars some are forced to either wait or run.
Trying out the Park and ride gives us two advantages, we turn right out of the lot and onto the freeway, less chances of getting a major break in the caravan, and there's fuel options across the street for those not planning ahead.

So to re-cap:
go to the wrong location
make sure you're below quarter tank, and the oil light is on
delete everyone's number
rev your car at every car on the road, bonus points if you rev at the police
do a cyclone or 4 in the parking lot while you wait
do highway pulls all the way to the bay
get in a fist fight with one of the organizers
am I missing anything?
oh right, make sure you have firearms and at least a couple bags of cocaine in the car, ideally on the dashboard so you don't have to take your eyes off the road (safety first)

Oh, and hoping for a bit better grub--i.e. pulled pork sliders--than some franks. Though I'm sure the basic ballgame fare will be available if that's what you're looking for.
