I've been a long time member of i-club since '02 when I got my '03 WRX. I used to live in the bay area so I posted in the Bay Area section but my parents bought a house up here so I figured I'll just transfer to Sac State after my JC. I didn't post much afterwards after getting pulled by a couple of cops in Fremont (Rosette got me twice) And once in Union City. So my Rex is just chillin' stock now. But I was wondering if anyone here lives in South Sacramento and attends Sac State and would like to somehow carpool.

I went this morning in attempt to find parking, but it was UNBELIEVABLY horrible.

My scheduling went somethin like this...:

Class starts at 9
Leave house at 7:30.
Get to school at 9.
Run around in circles 'til 9:45 for parking.
Gave up, went home.
Got another class at 3, ends around 4:30-5pm.

I saw a bunch of scoobies in school while driving in circles in full parking lots. Including a hot asian chick in a White STi, looked like one of the recent STi's that came out.

But that's besides the point. My name is Stephen (sounds like Steven) and I'm a 21 year old male *****. Anyone have class around 9 and ends somewhere mid-day and want to car pool? I go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays.

And for cool connection purposes, anyone else an owner of a scoob and attends Sac State?

 

Is this your first semester at Sac State? FYI - 9am classes are bad unless you also have a 730 class. I have a 7:30 on T-TR but can't really carpool as I go to work directly after class. I park all over - today I was over by the new parking structure.

 

I saw that crap on the news last night. Ef that. If I was a student I'd drop until feb or June when they are done with the two projects.

 

Yeah it sucks. I don't know why they don't better plan things like this - "Yeah, lets have two big *** projects going at once and totally screw the parking situation for multiple semesters. We'll also sell WAY more parking passes than we should and make it so multiple pass holders are unable to park on campus!!!"

idiots. The only solution as a student is to take classes during off-hours or to have an early class as your first, then take others during the day. Otherwise, you ain't finding parking.

I thought the new parking structures were suppose to solve the parking issue I got out of there in 2004 and the parking was Crap, I always made sure every semester i had a 730am class, and of course I would be in the parking lot by 645am.... I used to always be able to park in the lot closest to the Union.

 

THAT TRAFFIC SUCKED!!!! i missed my first class and had to park in overflow tuesday, which really blew... Anyway, my name is Steven and im on year 2, i drive an 01rs with a cf hood and pink i badge. i saw 2 black stis with goldies, a wrx and some wagons the first day. nice to see some good looking imprezas on campus, im looking forward to parking next to some tomarrow in the REGULAR PARKING LOTS, not the overflow 8 miles away from the school.
