Actually, I noticed message filters in place on that board (all the stars in the posts) so the guy was probably getting around them by purposely misspelling that word.

Maybe I'm being overly harsh but when I look at those pics I just don't get it! The whole thing is an assault on the senses, sort of a neon-colored, "Corvette Summer", gadget-laden GameBoy on wheels.
