ugh, last night was not fun at all. our kid had a little bit of a cold yesterday, we didn't think much of it. she woke up around 1:30am screaming, beet red, and have a fever around 103. so we did what new parents do best, freak out and take her to the ER.
biggest effing mistake evAr. never go to an ER after last call. ever. soooo much drunk people drama, i was on my way to break up an altercation between a drunk dude and his gf's drunk mom (gf was apparently in a dui related accident) when roseville pd rolled up and put a stop to it. gf's crazy mom was making noise about how the dude's not drunk dad "shoved her" when all he did was step between her and his son. so anyway, cuz people can't handle their alcohol, we got stuck waiting for about 3 hours.
now me and the wife are sick *** *****'s too. and i made the mistake of taking benadryl and robitussin at the same time when we got home...
