I lease dyno time to the CARB.

Cop makes a U turn, over 2x yellow lines, and stops ~20 ft behind me.

I get the green, and as soon as I proceed, cop lights me up.

"Do you know why I pulled you over?"

"To harass me?"

"What...."

"To harass me? Of the 5 things that you usually pull a car over for, I didn't do any of them. I have a front plate, I'm wearing my seatbelt, I'm stopped, so I can't be speeding, my reistration is current, and you can't possbly tell how loud my exhaust is.
So, it must be to harass me."

After looking at my paperwork, he handed everything back to me and invited me to have a nice day.

I thanked him profusely for keeping the streets safe.

:rotfl:!!!! I wish i had the ***** to talk to cops like that, I would probably get out of more tickets... I have started to talk back to them, especially about me having an Arizona drivers liscense...

I had a cop pull me out of the car, so I was sitting on the hood of my car while he was running my drivers liscense... he then told me that he was goign to write me up for having a ariz. liscense. I told him he couldn't because I am a full time student, and I never have to get a california drivers liscense thanks to the law. He continued to push that, that's not the law. After about 20 minutes of argueinig and him interagating me asking where my parents lived, where i lived, how come i have a california registered car then(gave him a look like are you ****ing stupid, and replied "Why does it matter... I bought the car here, and i goto school here, why wouldn't i register it here". Then more interigating... I eventually turned to him and went look, you obviously don't know what you are talking about since this truely is the law, so either call someone who does know what they are talking about or leave me alone.... He handed me back my liscense and said have a nice day and drove off

Wouldn't they just do the two speed tailpipe test?

Yes, and the load cells in the primary fuel tables are gonna let you pass with flying colors

Wouldn't you pull over Charlize Theron if you could?

Besides, we all came from Africa, duh.

I think the hit rate on modified looking vehicles is higher than you think.

If a vehicle is modified at all then the chances of unseen illegal mods are huge.

Your black man racial profiling argument is more like my argument that not all modified vehicles are streetracers. I'm against both.

So Paul you think once I get a high flow cat (Magnaflow Carb Legal) welded in I should be able to pass the roadside tests?

How would they achieve this test when they only use 2WD dyno's at these smog check points?

Like I said... They can't test your car like they can with a RWD/FWD car, because they don't use AWD dyno's the only thing they can do is use their sniffer/infra-red thing and see how your emissions are when you are at idle... which anyone in the world could tune it to pass that...

All you sedan owners crack me up.

If you don't want to get pulled over, you can't beat the stealth of a wagon.
How loud was my car, for the last year? Massive exhaust, big brakes, slammed, all kinds of stickers, and I never got screwed with once.

I meant the two speed idle tail pipe sniffer test not the rolling road grams of polutant per mile test.

I've seen plenty of hondas covered with stickers and slammed to the ground, with stock exhaust and most likely stock intake too.

I'd like to see your car pass a emissions test...

Even the worlds best tuner can't tune around missing cat converters , even if you still have a so called high flow cat in the downpipe.
