Retune today at S-S = 10 more WHP with same mods
So I took my car in today to have Nate have a look at what was going on with the open/closed loop delay that was causing a 1200rpm flat spot (actually turned out to be a 10 whp loss rather than flat spot) between 4k and 5200rpms. The dip came out in the dyno graph but the afr, boost, timing and everything else stayed the same during the dip.
For a moment, maybe, Nate was a little stumped but after the hour he spent diagnosing the issue which led him to wipe everything out and start from scratch he came up with what so far seems like an amazing solution to the dreaded open/closed loop delay the 04+ ECUs have.
Nate was able to keep the AFRs, timing, and boost exactly the same in the original safe range he tuned but was able to tune 10 more whp and 5 wtq to give me 212 whp and 185 wtq. On top of that he made about 10 dyno pulls back to back with no cool down and the numbers stayed the same.
Nate gave me a quick explanation of what he did and so far it seems to be holding. He told me my car was the first 05 he has completely wiped out the delays and started from scratch with. The car pulls so much harder and smoother than it did before. The delay is completely gone which makes the car so easy to drive. I am very happy with what Nate was able to do.
If you read this Nate, thanks again for spending the time you did today to get things working right (and better than before!) I will let you know if anything changes and how it runs. You da man!

I just wanted to bump this thread for any of you potential Subaru Specialist customers so you could see how they take care of their customers.

You'll be happy with it and there are plenty of others who can validate that.

I took a ride in BlackVenom96's VF34 equipped ride the other day and it was so nice, I couldnt even tell a difference in spool time between his and mine but the top end, wow!
I'd love to but for now I'm really happy with my new power and secondly I need to ditch the stock wheels and tires before anything else.
I have the RE92 blues.
