Probably going to trade in the 4 door Miata and buy two more Miatas
Disneyland is fun but best on weekdays and you have to be willing to deal with crowds.

No not buying a Miata... I've been looking at 06-10 Ford Explorers with the 4.6 V8 as a tow vehicle for the Miata. It'd also be nice to have for towing a small utility trailer for house stuff and I could use my hitch mount bike rack again and hopefully get back riding my mountain bike again. Basically having 2 of the exact same car and a Miata isn't the most useful setup.

Why? Just buy a new explorer with that v6 twin turbo.

Because 13k vs 45k and the new explorer can only tow 5000lb. Miata 2400lbs, trailer 2000lbs, associated tools supplies etc. 500lbs, passengers and their crap 500lbs each. It adds up fast and can easily go over GCVWR. Basically aim for 10% more towing capacity than you'll actually be towing.

strip the explorer interior, you dont need airbags towing.
