Too bad Old Sacramento is always packed because that would rock. Maybe even a park we could tailgate at that has a decent parking lot like one of these:

im not sure of which out of those but i was thinking that one of garden hwy? what's it called?

If not then the Laguna/Elkgrove area is FINE BY ME. we just need a place to meet w/o hassle etc etc.

Egan on NASIOC made a suggestion of using Natomas Marketplace off I-80. That's easily accessible and also pretty central. There is a ton of stuff in there including In n Out, Steves Pizza, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Quiznos, some mexican place, Applebees and a movie theatre.
Traffic sort of sucks, but I know the way around there pretty well..this would probably be a cool place. Lots of parking and the like.

Me and my friends (team Demented) used to hold regular meets at the natomas marketplace. But, eventually it got shut down. Both the local security and police asked us not to meet there. They said that it was interfering with the "normal" shoppers. Its ok with me...just a heads up though. Also, someone said a park would be good. Well, elk grove park, has plenty of free parking space.

EG is too far away for me though
Folsom lake is accessable via auburn folsom road, which is off of 50, and also accessable from the I-80 side via douglas. So its kinda inbetween everyone, unless you are in davis... But davis is about the same length of drive for me as elk grove.
