I figure it is probably similar to installing vinyls however it really wasn't like installing tint at all. I have tinted a few cars and tint was easy in comparason. The 3m stuff was really tacky and didn't "slide" around into place easily at all like tint. I think that if I did another car I would be a lot better at it.

Scott, if I can get you a kit for your sti for around 200 you wanna install together? I wanna see/help another kit install because I think the second time around I will know what not to do at least.

Not so fast Mcfly, they differ for each car.

They are 266 dollars for the MY04/05 WRX/Sti but I might be able to get the discounted to around 200 dollars is what I meant. They are super nice though. Cut perfectly. Fit is awesome. If I ever find time to make it to a meet I can show you.

The kit for your car Russ runs 168 for the full kit MY02/03 (Mirrors, hoodsoop, front hood, side fenders, and bumper).

oh wow... IMO that's not a bad price for all of that... I think that I'd want my hood and bumper resprayed first... I have quite the collection of mini rock chips...

Thanks for all the replies. I finally took my car to local shop in Rancho Cordova. www.onestopautodetail.com.

The did the whole car for me, inside and out. Car turned out great, actually looks better than when I picked it up from the dealer.

Just one thing though, the place is a bit expensive. $250 for complete detail and "special" sealer, which I am assuming is nothing more than wax.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

-Darren.
