Nice. I guess that means you won't be in SA where I hope to place in the top 3 (only 4 reg'd so far! )

I went out last year for this same event and you're right, there was a washboard section that was pretty bad. They're supposed to have it smoothed out this year and they have a truck/tractor thing to keep it smooth. I guess we'll see how it goes though with this rain and all.

I'm only going on Saturday, but I think it should still be fun.

It was smooth on thursday. But after the rain this weekend and some of the 4x4 guys playing around it may have to be re done.

Was that a jump at the end of the video? Looked like you were going pretty fast when you went over it.

Yes it was a jump. I was going about 40-50 and we paced it off to about 25 feet.

Wow, that's crazy. Hope your struts are holding up! I can see how you could get air after driving the course over the weekend though.

That was the first jump on the video, I did a second one that was about 45ft. As far as my struts they are all fine. I am still surprised I have not killed them yet. Even after 10+ rally cross events, most of them at PC too, the car has 120,000 miles and they are still working.

The weekend was full of good racing, good teams out there. I ended up placing 3rd in M4 class in the DeSoto Rally car as #17. not bad for my second rallyX
