Possible relocation to Reno. Recommended living locations.

I might relocate from the North Bay to Reno. Unfortunately, I only know about the hotels and stuff around there. What locations are good for living in? Thanks.

Three of our most active Reno residents are currently in Canada attending the GP so you may get a delayed response.

Deede's 2¢:
The Robb Dr. area (North West), or the area around Double Diamond (down South). It's all new housing. Sparks is janky unless you're in the new stuff way back in Spanish Springs (way North East)

Are you moving up for work?

Yeah, that territory just became available from my work. I'd like to move closer to the snow and also it's cheaper than the bay area. Things are way too expensive around here. Thanks for the info.

What Deede said. Depending on where your work is, you should shoot for one of those.

I lived in Fernley for a year or so... if you like small towns and minor snow, that'd be a good place. there are some nice places there out by the golf course, but not much shopping so a drive to reno would be goin down.

Yeah! I like the no carb laws , but I'll probably keep my high flow cat on. I want to feel like I'm helping the earth stay a little green. Also, I have a wagon, drones in the cabin if no cat.

What Nick and Deede said. Come to www.seccs.org if you want to talk to us collectively in more detail about what parts of town are better than others.
