So I installed a new part on my car on monday which is a bullbar and lights.

Here is the story:
So I was getting off the freeway on 43rd ave and I had just came to a complete stop at the light as a ford mustang was just crossing onto riverside. As I had stopped, I just started to roll down my window and the mustang was just passing my driverside fender. The passenger looks at my car as they passed through their green light onto riverside. I then make a right turn and I’m about 2-4 car lengths behind them at this point pacing them at about 40mph and not gaining or losing ground. At this point we are now passing up the apartment complex entrance and driving by the park that is next to the apartment complex and then they start slowing to about 35mph and at which point I caught up to about 1 car length since they slowed down and I was still doing 40mph. As I caught up to them, I then slowed down as well because I didn’t feel like changing lanes. So now I’m about ½ to 1 car length behind them pacing them at 35mph. At this point, I was thinking to myself “why the hell did they slow down to 35?” but I just stopped thinking about it and keep driving behind them. Now as we start passing up the light for Greenhaven Drive still on riverside, they start slowing down a little more and I slow down as well. Now this is where I start thinking in my head “I’ve been following them for about ½ to 1 mile, I wonder if they think I’m a cop or something” By the time we start getting towards the curve by the retirement home on riverside, they have now slowed down to 30 mph and then the mustang uses his right turn signal and slowly turns into the street right after the retirement home on riverside. As he started to turn, I went around him (still in the same lane) and I looked over at the car and I noticed him turn his head to see what my car was and you could really tell he was trying to look at his head would have been where his window was and he had turn his head full lock. This is when I started laughing hella hard because I think they thought I was a cop!

I only ask cause I almost got rear-ended today.
Stupid camry driver got a lesson about the stopping power of Miata's equipped with 10.5" sport brakes with special edition oversized brake boosters.
He almost completely spun out trying to avoid me. I was preparing to open the door cause I was convinced it was gonna happen. I was pleasantly surprised. He probably went home to change his undies

I wasn't trying to follow the guy because I was heading home and didn't feel like moving around the guy.

Oh if he was following closer I'd be posting about no longer having the miata in one piece. lol
No, he was like 3-4 cars behind. The cars in front of me were all coming to a stop really fast, then some wise guy in front of me din an altima ecided to change lanes in front of me last second cutting the distance in half. I slam on the brakes so I don't hit him, and the camry behind me see's my tail lights and probably thinks my car stops as slow and lazy as his. Then with like 1 car length between us he realizes I'm going 0mph and he's going 40, and probably drops bricks as his front dips down and I hear tires screaming for their life. Tries to swerve right but we're on a BRIDGE, freeway overpass, and there is a giant curb there.
He finally stops inches from my bumper and inches from the curb.
I was bracing myself for impact.
