I use the Mouse Gestures extension for FF. At work I only have a 3 button mouse (no dedicated forward/backward) so to go back I can either hold right + drag left, or hold the right + click left. Also, I can just drag down to close a tab or drag up to open a new tab. But that's about all I use the gestures for. I think they really come in handy.
