Not in the past. What I have noticed with some stores is that in their ad they may have a stipulation stating they won't honour this scheme and must be purchased on same day to recieve the sale price. Or if you do buy it and they won't honour it the next day just tell them you want to return it...then ask to buy it again

a lot of stores are starting to charge a 10~15% "re-stocking fee" to big ticket electronics items.

can you get a rain check for stuff that's sold out on black friday?

Sorry... read comprehension > me

Yeah I forgot that alot, if not all, big electronic stores do charge restocking fees on high ticket electronic items like tvs and such. Most of the time they won't allow rain checks and will state that in the ad or next to the item on the ad. Typically its limited quanities and first come first serve. Maybe see if your friends work at one of these stores and stash it for you? lol

at best buy, there is a restocking fee on all cameras, camcorders, tv's, appliances, computers, and car audio gear. as for rainchecks, you're **** outta luck. first come first serve

I will not even step foot out of the house on Black Friday. I don't care how cheap things are. Not worth it.
