it's all about resorces, for many the military provides resorces. education, critical thinking, experance, life skillz. ect.
If my parents would have gone to college vs having me at 20 i'm sure i would have not done th military thing. each class has it's culture that it passes down to their kids. my family for the longest time was working poor.
i went in the military to get away from that culture.

Ya this kid was on a very hard, and very fast down hill spiral... The military was the best thing to ever happen to him, he has purpose in life again... No way he would have ever gone to college

i screwed myself. if i knew then what i know now. i would have got good grades in high school and went to college but instead i wanted to be stupid so what choices did i have. stay at home with mom or join the navy. well here i am still in the navy.
