It's not being overly sensitive, its called giving a **** about other people, and not caring only about myself. Didn't you read that BlkVnm's cousin died to some dumb **** ***** who thought he was ok enough to drive home... then you come in here with this bull**** "joke", I can't even go on to explain how ****ing rude and obnoxious that is. How would you like it if your mom died from a drunk driver, then someone comes to the funeral and comes up to you and says "Don't drive home drunk" You would probably beat the **** outa that guy on the spot. Then again this doesn't surprise me from one of the only message boards I have seen that doesn't have anything about sept. 11th on it. I guess you guys just don't give a **** about anyone but yourself, and if it doesn't hurt anyone at the time or effect your directly its all good and well. ****ing amazing the stupidity and selflishness, that is being expressed on this board. What makes it worse is that people after people are trying to defend those very people who are trying to defend drunk driving. This is probably the stupidest thing I have seen, I really wish you guys don't believe what you are saying, and you are just trying to defend your friends. Either way its very sad, that you would rather defend your friend then realize hundreds of people die a day due to idiots who decide it was ok for them to drive drunk.

I'm really sorry to upset you.

How long should I sulk and be upset before I can joke and have fun again?

I await your permission.

You can have fun and joke, but not about topics like that... There are things that are NEVER ok to joke about about, and I would think that someone dieing in a drunk driving accident is one of them. If you think about someone other then yourself, and put yourself in their shoes, how would you like it if someone made a joke to you about a loved one, even 5 years after it happened? You wouldn't ever... And Takling about September 11th isn't about sulking and not having fun, its about atleast remembering the men and woman who gave their lives trying to ..... ready? get this, you might not know what this is... HELP OTHER PEOPLE... OTHER!!! PEOPLE!!!!, I know some of you might not know what that is. It is also to remember all the passengers and workers who lost their lives due to such terrorist acts. You don't have to sit around and sulk all day, but the pure fact that NOT A SINGLE person made a thread about it or even mentioned it, yet people make threads about if they should drink 2 month old milk, is a joke. Instead you would rather try to defend people driving from drunk driving, then joke about it...

Like i said before.... Classey....

There's a difference between people screwing with you on a message board, and real life. You can ask Deede, I am very opposed to drinking and driving, even one drink. I won't let her drive if she's had anything to drink. A car message board is the wrong place to go on a moral crusade. I don't need someone yelling at me over 'teh intarweb' about how wrong they think I am. You don't know me, I've never even met you. Go out and get a breath of fresh air. And realize that the internet isn't real life. I have had to beat the hell out of friends, because they wouldn't listen when I told them not to drive. But that won't stop me from giving you **** on the boards, because you're a drama queen. It's funny. I laugh about it. Because you can't deal with it.

I'm sorry, but I'm sure everyone knows about the September 11th Anniversary. It definitely requires our reverence and respect. But that doesn't mean that we are required to discuss it on a message board. Everyone remembers in their own personal ways, I spent yesterday (the 11th for me) thinking about how the events happened less than a month before I was going to leave for Basic Training. And how the world has changed since then. But that doesn't mean that I need to go on the internet and post about it. And you're as bad as you say we are, since you certainly know where the damn 'New Thread' button is.

What makes it worse is that people after people are trying to defend those very people who are trying to defend drunk driving. It's hilarious that you would make that connection. What EricDaRed said was exactly correct. You need to desensitize yourself a bit when you're on the internet. What you were reading was general jackassery, and when people noticed that you were getting bent out of shape, they just continued to **** with you. Because it's funny. Go PM 'Kostamojen.' He would do the same thing, and we finally scared him away to the point where he dropped off the face of the internet for at least a year. Because he kept pushing the envelope, and making a jackass of himself.

You already made it incredibly obvious that you can't take a joke, with the whole 'apparently someone has a problem with me' thread, and you just keep opening yourself up.

Go look for power elsewhere.

I think you should stop telling other people how to react to tragedy Dr. Phil. Let me deal with things the way I handle them by joking and you can start cursing at everyone.

Jeez. I never thought about it that way (see how I made and Icon out of that. It's magic) I'm gald you know me well enought to make a comment like that. I don't know what I would do without you. Do you know anything about my family or anything that's happend to them and if anyone has ever joked about it? I'm guessing no. But thanks, again for telling me how to act

So if you wouldn't mind tell me how you have helped the victims of 9/11? Just curious. So if we don't start a thread about 9/11 then we don't care? Tell me how a thread has anything to do with keeping 9/11 in our hearts? I think you put way to much importance on what is said here. I hate to break it to you but this forum isn't really that important to life. It's a place for people to come and have fun. If you don't like the way we act around here I invite you to GTFO (That's "Get the **** Out" since you don't seem to really understand this place).

I like how you said I was defending drunk driving. That made tons of sense. You might want to re-read my posts and see if I ever defended driving drunk.

Why didn't you start a thread about 9/11? Is it because you don't care? Just curious.

Oh yeah. Welcome to the SRIC, enjoy your stay

It's not being a drama queen, I have horror stories and so does BlkVnm of first hand occasions, where some body decided it was ok to drink and drive, so it hits home with us. I don't care if it is over the internet, or if I don't know the person, if they make a post about it, I am going to make sure I do not agree with them, and think they are a ****ing idiot. I don't need to know anything else about the person, I already know they aren't going to be high on my list of good people. I have had friends who have driven home drunk, and I let them hear an earful as well. There is no excuse for it, maybe I just don't see the humor in joking about driving drunk, maybe it will take a first hand incident to someone close for you to see it isn't very funny, because hundreds die a day from it.

I'm not sure where you are coming about with these and this "apparently someone has a problem with me" that thread was never created by me, I just searched for every thread created by me and that definately wasn't made by me. The point about the sept 11th thing wasn't that it had to be made a thread, It's that there are threads made on this board about people drinking 2 month old milk, I installed my car horn today etc etc. Basically every time someone pees they make a thread about it, yet the one of the more important things, no one has even talked about it, no thread... nothing...
