Old Skool: PS2 vs. XBox(v1)
Yo.
Granpah in the hizzouse. Lookin' for a cheeeeeaaaap gaming, ah, er, platform.
Wooted a driving setup (chair/wheel/pedals) compatible for PS2 or Xbox.
When I play the gamez, it's on the Windo$$$$e, so I have no idea about the older gaming consoles. Plus, on my PC games, I fly (and bomb, and strafe . . .), not drive.
What should I be looking for on Craigslist, and/or eGay for primarily driving games?

I see 3 words that are joking/slang, lay the **** off him. I know it's all cool to rip on n0bs, but he's been around longer than most of you, he just doesn't post much. I wish some of the kids on here could pose questions this clearly.
He purchased, off Woot.com, a full sim setup (seat, wheel, pedals) and he's trying to figure out which system to go with.
I'd go with a PS2, there are more (and better, IMO) driving games on the PS2, not just limited to the GT series.

if you're interested in a chipped PS1, i've got what you need.
the chip allows you to play burned games.
i'll even throw in my burned copy of GT (the only game i have for it).
two working controllers and all the cords.
make me an offer and it's yours...it's just sitting in a box in storage.
been there for about 5+ years.
