I usually sit in the receptionist's desk on Fridays just because we get a lot of wholesale loan reps. that try and sell us their loan products. Not to mention the internet is slightly faster up here. It's fun! They walk in and see a young, baby-faced guy at the desk and instantly speak down to me in a smartass, condescending tone. Then when they ask to speak to the broker I say I'm one of them and their face turns pale. Haha. At which point I take all the rate copies they've handed me and dump them in the trash while they're still in mid-sentence.

But we also get these whacky people selling pure crap. How do these people make their living selling this garbage? This ******* actually walked with a fake plastic aquarium saying it was their "exclusive promotion." Wtf do you usually sell, asshat? Among the weirdest was a father son team trying to sell me martial arts equipment and a greasy looking guy trying to sell me frozen seafood at noon in my office. As if there's an ice chest in my trunk filled with ice on standby.
