Instead of paying your parking tickets, Boston is letting you buy toys to donate to a toy drive for the same value.

That's frickin' cool.

On that note, everybody got your donations for the toy drive/dyno day Saturday?

Hey, that is cool. No I don't have my donation purchased yet. You think they'll take something from Superb Burger?

so instead of paying $75 for storage and $35 for the tow you can buy a $110 gift? isnt that the same thing? i mean yea its cool they are supporting charity, but ummm, im still out cash. and boston gets to write this off as tax deductible. so boston wins.

Well, Boston wins and the kids win. You shouldn't have gotten a ticket in the first place.

That's a really good idea. It makes getting a ticket even worse if I know that the gov is being funded by my ticket.

I wouldn't be nearly as pissed if I knew a kid was getting toys out of it.

I think it's a great idea. I mean, it's making a charitable donation to the kids (whose school zone you shouldn't have been racing in anyway), instead of the man.

I wonder who's going to be the luck kid that gets that $300 toy from someone who runs a red light.
