No Brakes

So I am driving out of my parking lot at work and go to stop before getting out to the main road...... I push my brake pedal down, my foot goes to the floor with ease. I finally come to a stop after pulling the e brake. I am in the middle of the street, reverse and get back into the parking lot. hit the brakes again, and goes all the way to the floor, but actually starts slowing down to a stop. I am pretty much like, "****, what the hell?" Get out of my car look around and see nothing out of the ordinary. Turn my car off, turn it back on. The brake light stays on as though i have my e brake set, but at this time I do not have it set. WTF? I make the decision to just drive home because I don't normally use the brake that much driving home. I actually make it home. I just have to put my foot all the way down to the floor to get the car to slow and stop. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? The car was braking fine this morning when i went to work.

at the least all your brake fluid is gone...

brake light on is also "dummy light" for when low on fluid. sounds like you had a massive leak in your brake lines or cylinders.

careful and G/L.

Make sure that there's fluid in the system...and do not drive it any further.
I'll be at the shop tomorrow.

The caliper is falling off? Wasn't there some serious vibration?

well since photbucket ****ing sucks *** I can't post the pictures... I filled the system with fluid, however I know that it is all going to leak out as soon as I hit the brakes next.... this is a huge cluster right now.

Is that brake fluid I am seeing around the piston? If so, you appear to have blown the seal on that caliper and will probably need a rebuild...

Holy crap! At least you're ok. You probably pushed the piston out of it's bore by trying to brake on the way home, methinks. Did it wear on the inside of the rim any?
