yeah, you're looking at about $3500 for a grey market with no warranty watch. much more from a licensed dealer.

i have a hardon for nixon watches. They have great build quality for the price and i have had great luck with them. i bought the last series of the 4/4 rubber player (blue, green, red, yellow) and they just started another run.... beginning with orange... must resist...

My daily watch:
Nixon Manual

I've had it for about 3 years now and the thing is pretty much indestructible. water resistant to 100m and the crystal is recessed ever so slightly to keep it from getting bumped/scraped. It actually got slammed in a door accidentally over the weekend and it took it like a champ, no damage, which is more than i can say for my wrist.

next one i will probably pick up:
Nixon Chronicle - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -or- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Nixon Mellor

and i just picked up this badboy for my dads bday:
Nixon 51-30 Chrono

Rolex guys always say yeah well we went to the bottom of the ocean and I always tell them that all I have to do is drop one off a boat and get there, try throwing your Rolex to the moon.....

how's that work?

btw - you would really be surprised (or maybe not) at how many people own watches with the tachymeter scale on the bezel and do not know what it's for.
