Here is a pictures of what I was dealing with:
The shop that installed the alarm did a **** poor job of running the wire loom.
Over time, the loom rubbed against and/or wrapped around the steering shaft.
Apperantly, a black wire was severed. This killed the alarm system.
I've done a temporary repair by crimping on male/female spade connectors & zip tied the loom out ofthe way.
Something the original installer should have done.
You'll still have to have a professional installer look at & make repairs they suggest.
Here's how it left dbtuned at no charge:
