Hello....

Just wanted to drop a line, i'm in the Sacramento area and just back into a Subie. We moved about 2.5 years ago from Montana where I had an 02' Rex for a long time (bought it new in 01) but we sold it just before we left MT. Anywho....i just bought an 07' STi a couple of weeks ago and was wondering if anyone might recognize the car? I was hoping to get some back ground on it if anybody knows it. Its a black 07 w/Tein SS kit, BBS wheels, GS TMIC, and has a Blitz TT on it. the car had 71k on it when i got and the dealer said it was from Reno? any info would be great, thanks

Thanks for the welcome... I am trying to find out if this car had an AP on it when it was traded in....there are a few holes in the lower kick panel that look like a mounting point for a v2-v3 AP and I cannot get access to the ECU with openecu, it terminates the communication. Only time i have seen that is when the ecu is locked out from a tuner. Also didn't know if anyone might be willing to help me with this, i need an AP to try and unlock this ecu. Would have to be a 05-07 AP that someone would be willing to unmarry from their car, marry to mine and dl a stock map then unmarry from me.

 

Might try talking to Travis @ Snail Performance in Rocklin. He tunes out of FW Motorsports.

I dont have an AP so I cant help ya there.
