I think they should leave that new body style to the base NA Impreza and make the new FT-86 body style the new WRX and just have them be 2 different car lines

 

Agreed, but I like the WRX being a 4 door, so maybe a bit longer to fit the 2 extra doors, maybe have a 4 door and 2 door version. I dunno, just a thought.

and the uk top gear crew called the 02-07's ugly guess subaru showed them.

 

I didn't buy a Subaru because I thought it looked attractive. "Distinctive" is the word that comes to mind, especially the '07 and prior years when the scoop jutted out of the hood like Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Unfortunately my '08 WRX doesn't even have that, so every now and then I accidiently walk up to a Corrolla thinking it's my car.

 

i agree on the didnt buy it because it was attractive part but i wouldnt say they were ugly, i wouldnt say the current ones are ugly either, but that spy shot of the new one isnt attractive or distinctive. its just there, nothin to make you want it.

 

Man, I thought bugeyes were ugly. Kidding. This thing looks better than a bugeye.
