New Eclipse released today

The v6 model is a 3.8 making 260hp and 260tq. Probably still FWD though Car doesn't look too bad, but it could be a bit better. I wish they'd go back to a I4T platform instead of this heavy *** V6 bs. At least their V6 will stomp a Mustang V6, and probably keep close with a GT given it's power output.

Should be interesting to see them on the road

Not bad looking, but inside and out. If I didn't know any better I would get one, but I love my car. The rear has the same feel as the Audi TT.

I think it looks like a 350Z just had sex with a new Pontiac GTO and had a baby, the 2006 Eclipse.

There was a whole flurry of release pics today due to the Detroit and LA autoshows. Lots of good pics out there.

I'm gonna try and put together a good thread later when I'm off work.

Just read through the descriptions of things on the site and you will quickly see who the target audience is, it is quite amusing if you ask me.

Stuff like:

"It's time to drop the windows, crank up the volume, and announce your arrival"

I think it would be humorous if someone got a sound violation ticket in the car and used a screenshot of the site as evidence that "Mitsubishi recommended I act in this mannor and crank up the volume". Marketing like that makes me laugh but all the car manufacturers do it so I am not singling out Mitsubishi, they all want to sell cars to punk kids.

I stopped listening to punk when I stopped playing it on my guitar.
