If you dont like the personal real estate deal you could look into the Mortgage Brooker side they make good money also without dealing with the buyers as much

It take a little more to be a broker, but that is what I'm gonna be working toward.(why do the work when you could hire people to do it and take 30-50% of all the make)

Is a loan officer the same thing as a mortage broker? If it is then there is diffenantly money to be made there. My friend has been doing it now for about 3 years and make around 110,000 last year. You have to be good and sales though, get into peoples minds and make them commit to stuff.

Good luck with finding a new career!

I think when it comes to a topic that involves one's life we tend to give a friend the help he needs without making to much fun................

.............happy to help

deede - from what I understand (whitch is not much) a loan officer works for a bank where as a motgage broker is an Independent who finds loans from the banks

simple english Loan Officer can only get you the rate they offer at the back while a Mortgage Broker can shop many banks to find the rate you are looking for and both I believe make a 1% comission
