Thumbs up Nevada rules.

Just got my smog check done. On my lunch. Took like 10 minutes. Sweet. I especially love the fact that they popped my hood, pointed out my intake and, to their credit, the Borlas, and said "sweet." I got lucky, I took my car in sometime between the point of OBDII drive cycle completion, and the obligatory misfire in #4 CEL I've been getting. I like it here.

They're in the garage. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't have to turn them in tomorrow when I go to DMV to register.

I think they only want back plates for NV, not CA. Even still, only give them one of them, tell them the other was lost in a fiery crash or something...

And yes, NV > *

When I tired to get a Temp NV ID out here in Vegas (cause the DMV web site says you can but the DMV chick said I couldn't) They said I could get a NV DL and register my car here but I had to turn over my CA DL and my CA plates.

Here in Vegas they have private compaines that will do all the DMV work for you and I have heard they are more easy going and dont take yoru plates from you.
