Exclamation need twin scroll flange welded

I have vf37 twin scroll flange that i need welded to my downpipe. The flange is significantly bigger than the usdm flange and my local muffler shops are saying they cant do it. I know its been done before. Can anyone here do it or know anyone that can?

There's no way anyone in their right mind would just "weld on the flange" for you.
What you need requires a full on fabrication of the most difficult part of the downpipe.
Not impossible, but definitely nowhere near "easy" or simple.
Good luck.

Vladi, I'm not an expert at this and I have no idea how to weld myself. IA performance made it seem like it was an easy process but I guess they would since they are selling the damn thing. Do you know anyone that can do it? I'm willing to pay obviously and I don't care if it looks pretty.

Its all good man I know where you're coming from. I'll ask my dad if he's up for something like that (he's a welder/fabricator). I'll PM you and let you know if he is.

JDM pipe is ~4" shorter than a USDM length DP however. Won't reach your cat/cat back in stock form.

There are some aftermarket catless USDM length pipes, I route I'm thinking of going for my VF37 twin scroll, though I am keeping the stock twin scroll DP I got with my setup for smog purposes. A spacer will need to be fabbed down the road, and I am told sourcing the flanges for this will save a lot of shop time, aka $$$. It's a tube with a pair of circular welds otherwise.

Tomiko Racing - $500

Kinugawa - $250

Kinugawa has a smaller bore apparently, and some folks say the quality of Kinu swag is a bit suspect. YMMV, HTH, alphabet soup FTW.

JDM dp is a lot. I'm not willing to spend that much on some pipe.lol Well the last shop I took it too just called and said they can make it, but it might look a bit funny. I'll check it out tomorrow and see how it is.

If it's crap, that helix might be my only other option lol. I'm located in yuba city, 45mins north of Sacramento.

They are also going to extend my stock jdm dp to fit for smogging.
