Need help with timing!!!

Need help with timing!!!

I'm doing my girlfriend's water pump on the Legacy and some how the cylinder bank 2/4 cam pulley is 180 out from where it's supposed to be. Any suggestions???

I tried to turn it. The valve springs push the lifters on the cam past the mark.

You set it and you hold it while you put the belt on. Unless I'm mis-understanding your question.
