NEED HELP! Got Scammed!

Hey guys,

So i pretty much have realized i got scammed by a guy. It was not on a subaru forum, it was on a airsoft forum.

Basically the story is i paid for the gun back in August and still havent recieved the gun. he sent me numerous excuses why the gun wasnt sent yet and finally told me it was. Well i never got it and he has not responded to anything i have said to him or the claim.

So yes i have filed a paypal claim, about 3 days ago now. What more can i do, i dont joke around about this stuff and will take this to the next step. I wanted to post this is the local forum first so i dont get bombarded with reply. Serious replys only please i need information fast!

I am going into my bank tomorrow and see what i can do. I can supply more information if it is needed.

Thanks

Will

Don't you have his contact number?

All you can do is file through paypal.

Did not get a phone number, and im not sure if i can get it through paypal. I thought there was a way to file a chargeback through your credit card company or something like that.

you could always put a "Hold Payment" on your card for that transaction.

Contact your credit card company about what happened. They will get the money back for you.

See what I mean? The resale value is so high that you don't even get the rifle in some cases!

But yeah, sucks man... Talk to your credit card company and give them the documentation from paypal regarding the transaction.

sounds good, the guy actually emailed me back tonight. i sent him a email that said.

Where is my gun? I have filed a claim, please respond with more information ASAP.

And his reply was.

You filed a complaint against me ill deal with it on there.

This guy is so weird, he called me a "young paden" or something like that. Not sure how you spell it but i believe its a star wars character. Its seriously ridiculous.

Swear it on my life, ill try and find the email and post it up so you all can get a good laugh.

So the guy finally decided to grow some ***** and email me back. He came up with another excuse. He said that he had a family member send it and they sent it to the wrong address. So im giving him until friday to send it otherwise im taking it to the next step.

Does anybody know if there is a time limit that you can dispute a charge? like after a certain number of days you cant do it anymore.
