Unhappy Need help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 02 wrx and I'm having idle issues, no matter if it's cold or warm out my idle goes from 1000 to about 1300 and surges sometimes but not all the time and when I shift the RPM's stick for about a second/ a second and a half and when I down shift it keeps back firing till I push the clutch in, I cleaned the MAF and bought a new IACV and I still have the problem

Any advice would be great

Thanks

The symptom: Slightly higher rpm at idle. Only when the fuel tank is > 1/2 full.

Hmmmmm.....what could it be????

maybe throttle cable needs to be adjusted? Your ecu will compensate and try to give idle stability. It's threshold can only go so far. My .02
