I live under a rock when it comes to all the new rules and regulations, by choice, because it depresses me. But lately it's been so insane that I don't even know what to say.

I just went on amazon and tried to order DEI titanium exhaust wrap. It says "product cannot be shipped to your state" or something equally silly.

Like seriously. WAT

 

Yup, gotta love it.

 

Interesting... Reminds me of the illegal gas can that I bought off Amazon. I bought it from a 3rd party seller though.

 

California has a lot of stupid rules and regulations......

It's been that way for a while. It seems only the really big retailers only follow the rule though. Smaller shops and individuals DGAF.

One of the big ones is PlastiDip. Can't ship the buckets into CA. Spray cans only.

 

Yup the dip stuff has been that way for a few years. So much so where they made their own CA compliant mixture to be able to ship here.

 

I just went on ebay and ordered the same thing for the same price, but without the fast Prime shipping. Thanks EPA/CARB, you're really effective, I can smell the fresher air already.

 

What a hassle. I feel for you. I had the same issue when I was ordering HP Tuners for my Vette.

It could always be worse though. You could be like me and have a broken part in your AC, and when you call every Subaru dealer within 100 miles be told that it is a special order part and that there "might be 1 in the entire country, but no guarantees".

At least we're not having a heat wave. Oh wait... ;-)
