So did we own the comet? Or did it own us? I was hoping it would explode and kill Bruce Willis.

 

Yes, we owned the comet. The few 'almost live' pics that were transmitted clearly showed the cone-shaped spray of debris from the comet originating from the point of impact.

I just liked watching it because it reminded me of remote control target practice.

Yeah hollywood is the devil. After it hit the comet i was waiting for a sweet explosion. But alas.
