Hello

For the people that don't know me my name is Larry and I drive trucks for a living specifically dairy products. Here's my story.

As I get ready to leave from work, my boss asked me to bring this old truck *Bobtail* to the dairy for storage cause it was taking up space in the yard. I agreed big mistake this truck has been sitting there for a while but i thought to myself its not that far from here i'll just make it quick.

So as I leave the yard heading to the dairy, I'm heading down 47th just passed MLK St. getting ready to go over the overpass.

Well here's where it gets intresting as i'm going over the overpass there's a ramp for the 47th west or east (I forget) exit where it merges with the other lanes. Well your suppose to yeild on the ramp for traffic to clear up to merge.

So I'm heading up the overpass doing about 35, I see traffic starting to build up on the ramp as cars trying to merge. Well the prius that was trying to merge was deciding if she should go or not and guess what she decides to go for it

So here I am oh my god not again. I look to my left there was a car next to me so I hit the slammed on the brakes big mistake.

I just realised that i didn't have a trailer on me, so basically all the weight was in the front and primary brakes are in the back rear axle. so you guess what happend next.

My rear axle swong out under me and was making me go 90 degress right so here i am trying to control this massive vechile from destroying the other cars. I managed to avoid a couple of the cars but then i was about going downhill about a good 15 ft onto the freeway off ramp. the next 3secs were a blurr i can tell you this i knocked down a sign and a couple of small tress.

so here i am sitting there 15ft from the off ramp looking like wtf just happend. I checked myself to see if i was alright not a scratch, but i got out of the truck as fast as i can just in case i was spilling fuel and smoking, but it wasn't

So I layed down on the field and 3mins later fire dept came chp came. i just told them what happend. they told me i was very lucky that i didn't flipped.

So thank you for listening to my story i just wanted to vent out a little bit on how stupid drivers can be. Just because you see a truck don't cut in front of them cause they CAN NOT stop it time

You shoulda been at the back to stock party. We had a ton of ice cream.

 

I could have been there but I had to wait for an appointment. Damn customers that don't bring ice cream.

You should have just taken out the prius. ppl who can't think quick enough well, they get what comes to them.
