Paul gave him a loaner muffler, not one to trade away.

On a side note paul why does his insurance come into play with the cbe? did he sign a repair order? he relased his liability over to your shop? shouldn't your umbrella cover that? I was under the impression that if I left my car at a shop and it was broken into the shop was responsible for the damage? or parts missing? unless you note otherwise on the work order? huh maybe Im dumb? thats it!

Props to Paul@DBtuned for not completely cussing your *** out. He responded to your stupid thread without making a big fuss out of it.
yeah big ups to paul, the OP is generating quite some slander.

I work at a gas/service station and know exactly how Paul feels. Our station is located in a good area (Arden Park) and our cars are always getting broken into: stereos, rims stolen. In fact last year one of the techs was working on a mustang 5.0 parked outside of the garage. The tech went into the garage to grab a tool and this guy jumps in it and takes off like a bat out of hell... So be warned times are tough and it's only going to get worse.

Props to Paul for taking care of the customer the way any good buisness owner would.

What if... Paul set up a webcam or 2 to watch the parking area around his shop & linked up a live feed to his website so i-clubbers can check on their cars. Not always entertaining... until some miscreant tries stealing something and an i-clubber (or better yet, Paul) shows up to pwn his ***.

It'd be funny if they stole the cameras.

These are supposed to be nice, but they're kind of pricey: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/we.../4324&cl=us,en

Was always under the impression that if a customer leaves his car at a shop, it is in the shops possession and therefore covered by the shops insurance.
