Definitely no low end! But amazing high end. i love the 6 speed and hardtop. it handles very good also. When time comes, I would love to have a GC 2.5 rsti.

Sickmt : I wanted a ap2 but never drove an s2k before. i couldn't justify paying almost 7k more just for ap2. Right after reached 9000 rpm on the test drive, it was sold!

I love s2000's. Awesome cars. But I don't know if its better than a 2.5L scoob around town. It has the power of a honda civic under 6k rpm and eats as much as a healthy wrx. Lose/Lose.
But just looking at it and/or driving it through the twisties will put a grin on your face and you'll forget the downfalls
Have fun. They are great cars.

S2k is win though. I've seriously thought about selling my car and getting an S2K. My damn car is like the ring from lord of the rings. It keeps calling my name and won't let me leave it.

Vladi: you are on point with your statement(s)!!! The grin while driving this car is unmatchable to the wrx. My wrx had stage 2 and it was more of an "ehhh..." everytime I sat in the car and fully boosted. The s2k is more of a "OMFGWTF, DONT MAKE SENSE!" when redline.
Azer: Thank you! I felt the same way! Only thing stopping me was the pink slip. I finally had the opportunity to sell the suby and get a s2k. I know I will think of my wrx once rain hits again or a trip up to tahoe =(. I do not regret one bit of this decision.
thejordan: That's the sad part. The prices are inflated but the oem hardtop, oem latches and locks and a bonus comptech exhaust (1.3k new?) is worth every penny.

At least you're right. If I were to trade I'd get an 05 personally. T1R race exhaust Toda ITB's and cage. I'd be extremely happy. Although I could literally buy a miata for 1k and for a total cost of about 10g's I could have an all out race car thats been completely finished. w/ a turbo build or swapped engine.
