So saturday morning I was in modesto getting my impulse on.

Think of it as an sportier and upgraded version of a CHP bike.

Good thing there aren't plates yet because there is photo radar on 99 and I was very late getting out of there and had someones wedding to go to. (what break-in period?)

where is there a photo radar?

 

There's a section of 99 under construction. There was a sign on the shoulder saying photo radar in use. Then there was a radar speed indicators on each side of the road "YOUR SPEED IS XXX" (<--it couldn't show the third X though) Not sure if there is actually any photos being taken. The point is I thought about the lack of plates and didn't care too much.

It's south of 4. Don't remember the actual city.

 

haha i always speed thru those things.. it flashes or doesnt show anythign when your speed is over 80 lol... atleast the 1s around manteca (or somewhere around there) are like that

I got the one over 80 from Reno to Sac, to show 87. If you come through with a bunch of cars the speed does show up on the board, or as least mine didn't on Saturday morning.

The one at Gold Run, like halfway down? LUCKY! I always get pwned by trucks or idjits in SUVs through there. I usually barely manage 70-75 weaving through the rolling obstacles that are scared of the very stationary concrete divider that's outside of their lane.

nice bike! just watch it and DONT do any stupid stunts...a friend of mine recenetly tried to do some kinda craddle move and he flew off his bike hit 2 trees and then flew into a pole...shatter both thigh bones, broke his shins, and a crap load of compound fractures...and he's enjoying life via wheel chair with 37 rods thru his legs right now....so yea...i feel really bad for him, but at the same time its what he gets for trying to do something stupid on the street like that

 

Fortunately I didn't start riding until I was sane enough not to get into the stunt scene. Everyone is already trying to kill me. I don't need to have myself try too.
