Yes he did. We fished the Smart car out of the pool last night successfully (thanks for coming up with one on such short notice, chicken!). Thanks to Brandon for helping with the rigging, I've never seen him so moist.

Sent it off on a tow truck this morning. Never again, pool bottom looked like the Valdez
