Staff Members and Vendors are allowed sigs and Avatars. VIP Members are allowed avatars. You need to earn your VIP status/avatar by being an active member/contribuitor in the technical sections or other areas.

oh and egan i have a question for you.....one of my friends that i know owns a 1.8t jetta and he increased his boost by scewing in the rod that goes from the turbo to the wastegate....hes been driving for a while and boosted up his car pretty good with no damage to the engine yet....is it safe enough to try on a wrx or should i just forget about it.? sounds like a good idea but i want to hear an input on this before i go and break something.....

Don't do it. You're WRX has a more sophisticated ECU and will freak out.

drifter, dont listen to t-will. he tries to sabotage everybody. ill answer that for you by saying dont touch anything cuz it wont help but hurt. the best way is EM. dont you have a utec?

only time people have adjusted the wastegate rod is when trying to get rid of some of that wastegate flutter when going catless. but if you have EM, who ever is doing your tuning should be able to get rid of it.
