Actually its the products that suck.

1. my email works with my old pop/smtp settings when I'm NOT connected through my router

2. my old sound card works ONLY with the drivers cd that I now managed to find (Sound blaster 5.1 Live!)

3. Linksys sucks with their fawking firmware updates. Their firmware updates only give more trouble. I have their latest firmware for my wrt54g v2 and I was unable to connect to the internet or use any internet apps (like AIM) even though it said it's status had a good connection and was verified.


I've come to these conclusions

1. NEVER again will I buy another creative labs sound card

2. NEVER again will I buy another Linksys router

3. I will NEVER buy a mac

Honestly... I don't want a Mac/couldn't afford it right now even if I wanted it. The only Apple product I own is an iPod.

Yeah well its me *****ing here or me punching a hole in the wall. I chose to vent here obviously. It's always an issue with my linksys router though. After so long of continous use it freezes up and I have to actually reset the entire router and reenter all of my user info to get back online. And I really can't explain why in the hell my outlook express would work on my DSL modem, but not with my router even with the old firmware that was working previously
