cohn, a vf22 would be uber laggy in an automatic, the APS would probably be no fun. even a vf34 will feel considerably laggier than the stock turbo on an auto. with a fairly aggressive tune on my old vf34, the best it could do is hit 18+psi under 4k. stock turbo with an up-pipe, 3" turboack, upraded fuel pump, and a butt load of timing had the best throttle / turbo response for me.

sky92x has a upgraded torque converter in his saabaru, i hear that can really help with lag.

My parents are on well water back in my hometown. The last time I was there, the water smelled funny, and my wife's skin got dried-out and scaley from the water. Worst part about that last one is that my wife had just gotten a back tatoo before we left town for Thanksgiving weekend.

Why don't you ask someone for that Mr. Clean car wash chingadero for Xmas? I hear it has a water filter built-in.

BTW, I like to use distilled water in my W/S washer bottle in addition to my cooling system.

Had the Mr. Clean......but a key element for that to work well is starting out with good quality water.

Also, one evening I had to quickly wash the car....got back home at about 1:30AM and forgot I had left Mr. Clean in front of the garage

Not to be a language ****, but I can't believe that I'm the first one to notice that "stepchild" was spelled incorrectly in this thread's title.

Hmmm, I thought Cohnster's protest was with the statement that was being made, and not the spelling of it.
