Whoa there......
It's common knowledge that black cats h have the following traits/attributes/etc:
1. Are generally lazier than say, tabby or white cats.
2. Are more prone to violence than white cats.
3. Tend to use more catnip than white cats.

that shelter should not have adopted out a black cat this close to halloween. My guess is they continue to adopt out animals after thanksgiving when a lot of the animals are there because they were gotten as gifts and then people didnt want them. The SPCA is usually smarter than that
