just watched the cops tow a car in front of my house. white '96-'98 civic EX sedan, noticed it parked out in front of my apartment a few days ago, but didn't think anything of it because we get new people on this street all the time. i was watching the whole thing (taking a break from my essay), when i heard the cops talking to some of my neighbors. overheard the cop asking if one of them owned "the white subaru", and so i got a bit nervous. asked the cop if there was a problem with the subaru because it's my car, and he said that he was just joking around with my neighbors, there was no problem with it. turns out the civic was stolen, so they were just towing it out.
