so I'm a little confused. I went upstairs at work to bring up some papers that didnt really need to be brought up right away but I wanted and excuse to get some cookies. Anyways, my manager and the owner of the store were talking and then asked me what kind of phone I had so I said "iPhone...I got it when they lowered the price" and then the owner, who is always extremely talkative looked at me, grinned and said "thank you" in a way implying I should leave. I find it weird because I'm also 6+ months overdue for my annual evaluation/raise and dont want them to go "well if he has enough money for an iPhone he obviously doesn't need a raise" which is something I wouldn't put passed them
