yeah, it's just the low end Rebel/Rebel XT that i've gotten to use...
i'm not of the privalidged to use a 20D on a regular basis.

DZ was telling me that you have to be really careful with the quality of the lenses you select for a full frame camera. The smaller crop ratio, often cuts out a lot of the distortion along the edge of the lense. Which means that if you are planning on getting one in the future you should spent yet even more money on a super high quality lenses I think, so you'll be able to swap them over.

that reminds me of some sick freeware software I ran into a few years ago used to correct lense distortion. Who has time to write stuff like that???

I used some stuff the same guy wrote to stitch a bunch of photos together for some panoramics and a couple of vr type pov images.
