A very small rock chip that I got last night started a crack in my windshield this morning. 
If I have someone other than Subaru replace it will it be similar? I'm mostly concerened with keeping getting the dot matrix stuff near the window cuz 05 has no middle visor.

I had to put a new windshield on my STi I took a massive rock from a gravel truck, it was done...Right before winter too...so I'm sure it will get all pitted and chipped soon.
