****ing pissed right now. Locked up in the middle of a mission, ok, **** happens, whatever.
Reboot, hangs at save loading screen. Blow away install, hangs at save loading screen. Blow away install and saves (no GTAIV data on PS3), hangs at loading screen. R* better patch this **** quick; this isn't even a 60gb.

Looks like it's a server issue, the game polls R*/Gamespy for stats when loading and it's getting bad data back and hanging. Killing your PSN connection before starting the game fixes it for singleplayer. I got into a MP game with the usual group of retards, and hit what I'd assume was one of the failing servers.....was fine for a few minutes, then started stuttering and then locked up.
Disconnect from PSN and I'm fine.
Oh well, I work for a service company, used to this, will just wait for a response from Sony/R* before I **** with online again.
