You have to stand in awe to their stupidity. Wouldn't it be easier, more effective and less attention-whorish to line your inner walls with even pieces of sheet metal via nail and hammer? Almost like a series of metal pictures? At least you could pass it off as “art” for guests. I mean it's not like your living space is located between the 2x4’s inside the walls themselves.
